afa® lotion corporelle traitement avancé

afa Advanced Treatment Body Lotion is a body lotion that helps correct tone, texture and pigmentation on areas of the body with visible sun damage. Formulated with afaLUXE technology, L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and Dead Sea minerals, it cares for sun damage and dark spots, improves moisture retention, elasticity and texture, and complements in-office afa body procedures. It comes in an 8.5 oz / 250 ml bottle.

It is for anyone with photodamaged skin on the body, such as the chest, arms, hands or legs, who wants to improve tone, texture and dark spots while hydrating. It is not for use on the face, so keep it to the body. If your skin is broken, sunburned or irritated, wait until it has settled, and follow the guidance of your clinic if you are between procedures.

Apply it once or twice daily to the areas of concern on your body, or as directed by your skincare professional. Smooth it onto clean, dry skin and let it absorb. Because it is formulated for sun damaged skin, pair it with daily sun protection on exposed areas. Do not apply it to the face; afa formulates separate products for facial use.

afa does not give a specific timeline, so allow a few weeks of consistent once or twice daily use before judging changes in tone, texture and dark spots. Hydration and improved comfort should be noticeable sooner. The 8.5 oz / 250 ml bottle covers targeted areas for a good stretch, though how long it lasts depends on how much skin you are caring for.

It works well as part of a body care routine after bathing, and afa designed it to complement in-office procedures such as the afa Clay Peel, IPL and microdermabrasion. Pair it with a broad spectrum body sunscreen every day on exposed skin, since protecting against further sun exposure is key to improving sun damage and dark spots. Your clinic can advise on timing around procedures.

Ask your provider first. afa describes it as complementing in-office body procedures like the Clay Peel, IPL and microdermabrasion, but your skin needs time to recover before active products go on. Do not apply it to broken, raw or irritated skin, patch test a small area if you are sensitive, and follow the exact aftercare schedule your clinic gives you. Daily sun protection is essential.

A regular body lotion mainly hydrates. afa Advanced Treatment Body Lotion hydrates too, but it is built around afaLUXE technology, L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and Dead Sea minerals to help correct tone, texture and pigmentation on photodamaged skin and improve elasticity. It is positioned by afa as a pre and post procedure product, so it is more of a corrective body care step than a basic moisturizer.
