Hydrating Setting Mist is a fine, continuous face mist that soothes skin, locks makeup in place and refreshes the complexion. It is botanically infused with chamomile flower water to calm, ylang ylang flower water and D2O heavy water for hydration, and it helps keep skin moisturized and makeup smudge-free through the day. The 80 mL bottle has a pre-attached nozzle and can be used before, during and after makeup.

Colorescience says it calms and replenishes normal to dry skin and guards against dehydration, and it is tagged for combination and oily skin as well, since it is water-light with no oils. It is vegan and paraben-free but not fragrance-free: the scent comes from the natural botanical waters. If you are sensitive to botanical fragrance, patch test on the forearm first.

Shake well. Hold the bottle six to nine inches from your face and spritz lightly with your eyes closed. Use it over finished makeup as a setting mist to improve wear, or apply liberally to cleansed skin if you do not wear makeup to boost moisture. Reapply through the day for a boost of radiance. Store it in a cool place for an extra soothing effect.
