I wanted to share my experience because I don’t want others to spend almost $600 and have the same experience I did.

I only used the Omnilux mask once, but unfortunately, I found it quite uncomfortable. There was a noticeable plastic smell while wearing it, and because the mask sits very close to my nose and cheeks, the smell was difficult to ignore.

The straps themselves are adjustable, so they aren’t necessarily “too tight.” However, I found that the mask doesn’t stay properly in place unless you tighten the straps, and once tightened enough to keep it secure, it becomes uncomfortable around my face.

What concerns me most is that after using it, I felt that my dark spots looked darker. I understand that one use may not be enough to determine whether the mask actually caused this, but because I already have pigmentation, I’m now worried about continuing to use it and potentially making it worse.

For almost $600, I expected a much more comfortable experience. If I were seeing an improvement in my skin, I would be willing to tolerate some discomfort and give it more time. But when I’m concerned that my pigmentation may be getting worse, I don’t feel comfortable continuing.

This serum has been in my rotation the last 2 years. It’s a repeat purchase for me. I use it at night and love the consistency. Goes on smooth and I feel like it has helped keep my skin tone even. I alternate between this and a retinol. It lasts a long time as a little goes a long way.

This was my first time using retinol , it was an adjustment with flaking and redness at first as expected with my fair sensitive skin. As I’m getting more adjusted to it I’m noticing pigmentation spots fading and starting to see some results. It is doing its thing and I’m happy :-)

However, I keep repurchasing it because I genuinely enjoy how it makes the delicate skin around my eyes feel, hydrated, smooth, comfortable, and well cared for. After using it for several years, it’s definitely one of those products I enjoy having in my routine.
