Medical Grade Vitamin C Showdown
AlumierMD EverActive C&E vs. Vivier CE Peptides
It is the most common question we get: "Which Vitamin C is actually worth the investment?" We are comparing two heavyweights: AlumierMD's fresh-activation technology vs. Vivier's patented penetration system.
- ✓ Freshness: Why oxidation ruins your serum
- ✓ Texture: Watery absorption vs. Silky finish
- ✓ Science: 15% Fresh L-AA vs. 10% USP Grade
Head-to-Head Comparison
Both are "Gold Standard" L-Ascorbic Acid serums, but they solve the stability problem in two very different ways.

Why distinguish "Fresh" vs "Stable"?
Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid) is notoriously unstable. When it touches air or light, it turns brown (oxidizes) and becomes useless.
The AlumierMD Approach: They admit Vitamin C is unstable, so they don't mix it until you buy it. By keeping the powder in the cap, you create a fresh batch every month. It is the closest thing to lab-fresh Vitamin C at home.
The Vivier Approach: They use chemistry to stabilize the molecule. Their IDS™ (Intra-Derm System) creates a "reservoir" effect, allowing the Vitamin C to stay stable in the bottle and penetrate the skin layers slowly over time for maximum collagen stimulation.

Common Questions (PAA)
Why does Vitamin C turn orange?
This is oxidation. When L-Ascorbic Acid is exposed to air, heat, or light, it degrades into Erythrulose (the ingredient in fake tan). This is why AlumierMD keeps the powder separate until you are ready to use it.
Is 15% Vitamin C better than 10%?
Not always. While 15% is stronger on paper, penetration matters more. Vivier's 10% formula uses the IDS delivery system to ensure the ingredient actually reaches the dermis, making it highly effective despite the lower percentage.
Can I use these if I have acne?
Yes, Vitamin C is an antioxidant that helps heal inflammation and fade post-acne red marks (PIE). AlumierMD's lighter texture is often preferred for oily/acne-prone skin, while Vivier is better for dry/aging skin.
How long do the bottles last?
AlumierMD EverActive comes in 3 bottles; once activated, a bottle stays fresh for 30 days (90 days total supply). Vivier CE Peptides is a standard 30ml bottle that should be used within 4-6 months of opening.
